I'm Martin Rundle, an experienced Fire Safety Officer with 35 years continuous employment with the Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service.

2010 - Formed MFR Fire Safety Consultancy

Commenced trading in May 2010 having registered the company with Companies Registry.

2009 - Retired from Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service

Retired from the Fire & Rescue Service having completed 35 years service, during which time I attended the Fire Service College, Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire and successfully completed numerous operational and fire safety courses.

2001 - Fire Safety Inspecting Officer

This role at Sub Officer and Station Officer level status incorporated advising clients on planning applications and the enforcing of fire safety legislation within the private and commercial sectors of the Isle of Man.

1998 - Community Fire Safety Officer

This role involved the introduction and development of Fire Safety Education in Isle of Man schools and ground-breaking initiatives in Community Fire Safety.

1990 - Sub Officer in charge of Operational Fire Crew

Responsible for the management, training and discipline of a highly trained operational fire crew.

1983 - Leading Fireman on Operational Fire Crew

Responsible for deputising in the absence of the Sub Officer.

1975 - Joined Isle of Man Fire and Rescue

Joined the Isle of Man Fire & Rescue Service as a young inexperienced 19 year old, stationed at John Street Fire Station, Douglas.
